Early Literacy Storytimes
Milton Public Library is committed to supporting parents and caregivers in building a foundation for their child's development as a reader and a lifelong learner.
Early Literacy Storytimes are registered eight week sessions, offered in the Fall (begining in October), Winter and Spring. *Drop in storytimes change depending on the season.

Babytime
For infants 0-11 months of age and their parent or caregiver.
Join us for stories, songs, bounces and tickles, and start building your child's early literacy skills. Singing, talking, reading and playing help with language devopment and motor skills.

One is Wonderful
For children 12-23 months of age and their parent or caregiver.
*Children should be one, when the program starts.
Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and more. Lots of movement for those busy one year olds.
Tales for Two
For children 24 - 35 months of age and their parent or caregiver. *Children should be 2, when the program starts.
Join us for a shared child and caregiver experience, where we will help you build early literacy skills with your child through reading, singing, talking, writing, and playing together!

Preschool Storytime
For children 3 - 5 years of age, and their parent or caregiver.
*Children should be 3, when the program starts.
This fun, shared child and caregiver experience is filled with stories, songs, and activities to encourage early literacy and assist with social skills development.

*Family Storytime
For families with children 0-6 years of age.
*Tickets available at the Customer Service Desk, 15 minutes before the program starts.

Baby Sing and Connect with EarlyOn Milton
For infants 0-12 month of age and their parent or caregiver.
This program is offered in collaboration with EarlyON Milton, and facilitated by an EarlyON Milton Educator.
A sing-a-long circle time for you and your little one, with songs, rhymes and fingerplays. This is a great way to connect with other new parents and seek support from our Educators.
Mondays at Main, 1:30 - 2:30 pm,
Wednesdays at Beaty Branch. 10:30 - 11: 30 am,
