About The Friends of MPL

The Friends of Milton Public Library is a volunteer led non-profit organization comprised of members of the community who wish to support Milton Public Library. The activities of The Friends of MPL group are focused primarily on fundraising on behalf of the Library.

Legacy Fund

The mandate of the Friends of MPL is to build a Legacy Fund of $100,000 for MPL over 3 years.  The Legacy Fund will generate annual income, which will be used to benefit the MPL community.  The fund will help pay for Special Projects like:

  • Purchasing additional Technology to support programming at MPL
  • Sponsoring Children’s registered programs (to avoid charging participants)
  • Supporting the Celebrating Stories Festival
  • Creating Specialist Collections
